YMCA Healthy Kids Day

Raising healthy children is a community effort, and the YMCA is your community partner in nurturing the potential of our youth.

YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a free annual community event hosted by YMCAs coast to coast. This day places special emphasis on how healthy living can be fun and providing families with simple activities and resources to live healthy every day.  Our YMCA is your partner in healthy living as a family. You can start here: try these Healthy Active Tips for staying healthy with your family!

Thank you to the many wonderful people who helped make YMCA Healthy Kids Day in May 2016 a success, including our volunteers: Tom Senese, Donna Beatty, Jackie Ralph, Tyler Stone, and Penny Bruickman-Stephens.  More than 47 children enjoyed free activities like a puppet show, games of skill & chance, a rowing challenge, family fun in the gym, a lifejacket/water safety clinic and a rec swim.

See you next year!

Next Healthy Kids Day: Sunday, April 30, 2017

Please note that all visitors to our YMCA are required to show government-issued photo ID at the Membership Services Desk upon entry. This is an important part of our Child Protection Policy and helps keep children in your community safer - thank you for your patience and understanding.

Will you be visiting our Y for the first time?

If you are planning to swim, please view our Pool Admission Policy.

Note that we have five change rooms - make sure you are in the right place by reading the signs!

You must be wearing appropriate workout attire to participate. Click here to check out our Attire Policy.

On Healthy Kids Day, come in and look for the Membership Services Desk.  Our friendly staff will have you sign in and then you're off to have fun!
