This program provides laid-off workers with skills training and access to financial support to help them find jobs in Ontario's high demand occupations.
This initiative helps unemployed older workers (aged 55-64) improve their employability through activities such as prior learning assessment and skills upgrading which will increase their ability to find work, reintegrate back into employment and ensure that they remain active and productive workers. Note: This program will be ending on March 31, 2017.
Youth Job Connection provides paid pre-employment training, job opportunities and mentorship to youth age 15-29. This job placement will help young people gain valuable skills, experience and confidence while making great connections within the community.
Experience Ontario (ExO) is a pilot program that will help recent high-school graduates who are uncertain of their next steps. The intent of the program is to provde career exploration which will help participants choose a career path and build confidence so that they can excel in the labour market.
