Scheduler

Job Description:

Reporting to the Administrative Coordinator, the Scheduler is responsible for shift planning, development, reporting, ongoing monitoring and maintenance of the work schedule and related payroll processes for Health Services Programs. As a valued member of Health Services team, the Scheduler demonstrates a commitment to Resident and Patient Safety by managing schedules for each program (Paramedic Services and Long Term Care) at the County of Bruce to provide exceptional care in accordance with the organization’s mission and vision.

Walkerton

Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:

Knowledge and Skills • Minimum 1 year post-secondary diploma office administration or related field; • Minimum three (3) years of varied office experience, in a fast paced environment • Experience working with scheduling software, or in a scheduling role • Experience working in a unionized environment an asset • Strong ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as: Outlook, Excel, Word • Preferred – Experience with Avanti scheduling processes • Effective communication, organization, time management and problem solving skills
