Our 30 year family business is looking to add to our team of professional service technicians.
Our mission is to maintain and enhance our clients recreational water experience by maintaining their pool and spa investment in pristine condition.
The ideal person will have a willingness to learn, attention to detail, good mechanical and troubleshooting skills, good interpersonal and customer service skills.
The job requires working outdoors in various weather with some lifting up to 25kg and medium physical demands that require dexterity and mobility.
You will be working with our team doing pool/spa openings/closings, maintenance and repairs/upgrades.
Experience is a plus but we would like to help the right individual develop the skills needed for a career as a pool/spa Professional Service Technician.
Full time seasonal position approximately April -Nov depending on weather & business volume.
Adverse weather conditions may result in temporarily reduced hours some days with longer hours on others.
Busy seasons from early May to early July and early Sept to mid Oct may require overtime and some Saturdays.
Year round positions may be available.
Also may be requested to attend day training in the off season.
-Experience an asset but we will provide training.
-Must have reliable transportation to get to/from our Heathcote office
-Must have a valid class G drivers license
-Clean driving abstract
-Clean criminal record. (May be subject to background checks)
-Industry specific training & experience
-C.P.O. – Certified Pool/Spa Operator
-Basic first aid training
-basic computer proficiency
-pool/spa plumbing and basic electrical safety/troubleshooting knowledge
-pool/spa chemistry knowledge
-Gas Technician G2 license would be an asset
Base Rate $16+ hr.
Rate commensurate with skills and experience .
