Jewelry Production

Fierce Deer Jewelry

Job Description:

Position: Jewelry Production

Company:  Fierce Deer

About Us:

Fierce Deer is a small handmade jewelry company from Toronto, ON, run by two sisters (Kate and Alanna). We have recently moved our studio from Toronto to Owen Sound (our hometown!) and work in a funky downtown studio with several other artists. We create unique, personalized, handmade jewelry that helps people tell their story.

We are lucky to sell our jewelry in boutiques across North America and Europe, and recently set up shop at The Patch in Sauble Beach. A majority of our sales are through our online Etsy store, which you can check out here: We also sell our jewelry at various music festivals across Ontario throughout the summer, and craft shows throughout the year.

About the Position:

As we expand our operation, we are offering a full time position for someone to assist us in making jewelry for our online orders and wholesale accounts. You would primarily be involved in producing necklaces, earrings, and bracelets in our downtown Owen Sound studio with Alanna and other part time staff. We would train you on everything you need to know, but prior knowledge of jewelry making is an asset. We are ideally looking for someone who wants a full time position for the foreseeable future, and would be available in November and December for the holiday rush.

We are looking for someone who is not only a good fit for our approach, style, and ethics, but someone who can imagine growing our business with us! Fierce Deer is expanding rapidly, and we want to bring on someone with creativity and positivity who wants to be part of our journey!
