Well known transportation company seeks an energetic people skilled person to fill the role of Operations Manager for their Bruce County based location. The candidate will work under the direction of the Director of Operations.
As operation manage you will oversee staff to ensure work is being performed according to established standards. You will also maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records that are in compliance with legislative requirements.
Compensation: $52,000 per annum
•Ensure all employees comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, drivers' hours of service.
•Ensure compliance of occupational health and safety, customs and immigration, and weights and dimensions.
Qualification and Competencies
•Three years of experience in a management role and five years of experience in the transportation industry.
•Certifications or licences appropriate to the transportation industry.
•Recruitment and or Occupational Health and Safety implementation is a strong asset.
