The Agency is currently recruiting for an Accounting Assistant for our client located in Hanover, ON. Reporting to the Controller, you will support a variety of accounting and administrative functions.
Position Type: Full-time, contract (estimated 7 month contract)
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage payables and receivables
- Assist with the preparation of reports as required
- Assist with preparation of year ends
- Analyze financial information in order to identify discrepancies
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- OSSD & Post-Secondary Education preferred in Accounting, Business etc.
- Able to operate computer efficiently with knowledge of Word, Excel and Accounting programs
- Excellent communication skills with management and staff
