Building A Better Experience Together

At the YMCA, we want everyone who comes to our centres of community to find the support and spaces they need to meet their health and well-being goals.

In the fall of 2024, YMCA WorkWell ran a National Member Experience campaign and heard from 39,000 members at 102 locations across the country.

Here in Owen Sound Grey Bruce, we heard from 767 members.

Areas We Will Focus On

Year-Over-Year Improvement

We were thrilled to see a significant improvement in our Parent’s Convenience score; one of our areas of focus in 2024.

We attribute this success to the actions our team took in response to feedback from the previous year’s survey. Some of the improvements we made include:

  • Added Fun Zone for children ages 3-12 during evening swim lessons
  • Adjusted our Gymnasium and Pool schedules to better accommodate families by overlapping Family Gym and Rec Swim
  • Expanded our swim lesson capacity
  • Introduced new Mommy and Me classes
