Cobble Beach Golf Resort proudly hosted its 2nd annual 5km Lighthouse Fun Run on Sunday, April 28th, drawing in 225 enthusiastic participants and raising an impressive $5,892.00 in support of The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce!

The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is beyond grateful! Thank you Cobble Beach Golf Resort for organizing this event and supporting our charity. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all participants and donors for their invaluable contributions to this remarkable event.

The scenic 5km run route wound through Cobble Beach’s publicly accessible trail system and golf cart paths, commencing on the picturesque wedding green and culminating at the iconic Cobble Beach Lighthouse. Participants reveled in the breathtaking vistas of Georgian Bay while actively contributing to a noble cause. Runners, walkers, and even four-legged friends united in the spirit of community and fitness.

Recognizing the outstanding efforts of our top fundraising teams:
1. Carb Enjoyers: Led the charge, raising an impressive CA$419.65.
2. Old Y Gang: Not far behind, raising CA$218.54.
3. Cobble Beach Turf Team: Contributed CA$191.71 to the cause.

Furthermore, we would like to congratulate Oliver Clarke of Owen Sound for his remarkable accomplishment, completing the run in under 20 minutes!
