Employment Services

Job Seeker Supports

This Employment Ontario service is funded in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Employment Advisor Assistance

Receive one-on-one job search assistance.

We understand that every job seeker has different employment needs and goals. As an Employment Ontario service provider we're here to help you get the training, skills and experience you need to achieve these goals.

If you are unemployed and not in school register with an Employment Advisor to receive personalized job search assistance. Your Advisor will support you in understanding your skills, interests and options and help you create a job search plan that meets your needs. Your Advisor will also help you create a resume that will impress employers, explain and assess your eligibility for Employment Ontario programs such as Second Career and refer you to local employment opportunities.

Employers often turn to YMCA Employment Services to assist with their hiring process and provide support through subsidized work placements. These positions are only available to clients registered with an Employment Advisor; register today to open the door to the hidden job market.

Drop by our Resource Centre in Owen Sound, Hanover or Durham to register with an Employment Advisor, no appointment necessary. If you live in Meaford, Markdale, Thornbury, Dundalk or Flesherton call 519-371-9222 to book an appointment with an Advisor in your community.
