Experience Ontario (ExO)

Experience Ontario (ExO) is a pilot program that will help recent high-school graduates who are uncertain of their next steps.

Did you graduate high school this past June (2017) or are you graduating by June 2018 and interested in attending postsecondary education or apprenticeship training, but…

• you are not sure what you want to do after high school?
• you applied and were accepted to university, college, or apprenticeship training programs but aren’t sure if you’re ready?
• you applied to college or university and weren’t accepted?

Experience Ontario may be for you!

Work one on one with a career coach to explore postsecondary and career opportunities, connect with people working in the field(s) you’re interested in, talk with local employers about job opportunities and create a plan for after graduation.

As a result of this program, you will develop a postsecondary and career plan to support your next steps.

Connect with a career coach through your school's Guidance Office or call 519-371-9222 to learn more.

The intent of the program is to provide career exploration which will help participants choose a career path and build confidence so that they can excel in the labour market.
