Community Health Representative
Chippewas of Nawash
Job Description:
Reporting to the Health Manager, the Community Health Representative will work with the Health and Wellness team and Programs to provide health care, counselling and prevention/intervention services to approximately 700 on-reserve members of the Chippewas of Nawash Unceded First Nation community.
In this role, you would find yourself advising health care personnel and visiting health professionals on best practices for introducing and providing health care services to the community, coordinating preventative health care programs, conducting meetings and workshops, working with on and off reserve agencies, providing home visits and counselling services.

Equivalencies that include a combination of education and experience may be considered. Due to the nature of this position, a recent Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check is required.
