Home and Community Support Services of Grey-Bruce (HCSS) is currently recruiting an Office Manager.
Our agency offers support services including Meals On Wheels, Transportation, Friendly Visiting, Housekeeping, Day Away and Respite services throughout Grey-Bruce.
The Office Manager provides direct supervision to HCSS reception support and finance department staff ensuring that the organization is operating securely and effectively. This role provides a mix of leadership and knowledge while working with other leaders and team members to meet the demands of the organization. The Office Manager will monitor and ensure the security of technology and office systems and is responsible for tracking the overall inventory of all HCSS computer hardware, equipment and vehicles. The Office Manager prepares and reviews operation reports and leads or participates in operational meetings.
The successful candidate will possess a documented combination of formal, applicable post-secondary education (Office Administration, Business, Facility or IT Management or similar) as well as three-five years related experience working in a business environment or a combination of education and experience. Financial or Non Profit experience an asset. Demonstrated experience producing reports, supervising and dealing with vendor contracts are necessary along with proven leadership ability to manage challenges and maintain optimum employee relations. A valid driver’s license, insurance and use of a vehicle are mandatory.
This is a 35 hour per week full time position, some evenings and weekend work may be required. This position is based in the HCSS Head office in Owen Sound.
