Job Description:
Duties:
- Summerizing, winterizing and shrink-wrapping boats
- Complete diagnostics, repair and maintenance of inboards, outboards, jet boats, personal watercraft, ATV’s and other small engines
- Maintain clean and orderly work area
- Complete jobs in an accurate and timely manner
- Assist with client inquiries and payment transactions
- Other duties as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
- Technical understanding of marine and recreational vehicles, small engines and shop-related equipment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to Multi-task
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Excellent customer service
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. or more
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Good hand-eye coordination
- Job requires working in cramped or uncomfortable positions at times
Education/Certification
- Certified Marine and Small Engine Technician or Apprentice
- Valid G Driver’s license with clean abstract
- Ontario Boater’s License preferred
This is an hourly seasonal position, full time from May 1st to October 31st, with potential for additional hours in the shoulder seasons for the right candidate.
