Job Description:

Have1.com (Owen Sound, ON) is looking for a key player with proficiency in developing social media marketing campaigns and frontline customer service. This position is onsite at our office located in Owen Sound.  

The Candidate will thrive on pushing their creative limits and will work to develop and promote a positive public image via our clients social media channels and websites. This person must have strong written and verbal skills.

You must be committed to a high level of customer service and ability to communicate relevant project information and updates to clients and co-workers effectively. The ability to adapt to business demands is also critical requirements of this job.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Degree or diploma in Communications, Social Media Content Creation, Marketing or a related field (completed or working towards)
  • Excellent computer skills-Proficient in Pages, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Basic SEO, email-marketing platforms, Constant Contact and MailChimp
  • Proficiencies in a Mac based work environment including Pages, Numbers, Adobe Creative Suite and other software are a requirement of this position
  • Experience in Social Media Marketing/Management (preferably 1 year minimum)
  • Experience in Customer Service setting (preferably 1 year minimum)
  • Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Creative writing skills and professional copy/content for websites & promotional materials
  • Willingness and flexibility to manage, organize and complete projects with multiple deadlines and the ability to adapt to day-to-day fluctuations in priorities

Responsibility and Duties:

  • Marketing proposals and quotations, Schedule and maintain digital campaigns
  • Stay up to date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Working directly with clients to creatively help interpret their projects and build on their brands
  • Responsible in developing social media content/ads, email blasts and digital marketing strategies to execute client projects
  • Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, ie:promotions/competitions/blogging, Facebook ads
  • Assist in answering incoming calls, provide support to co-workers, respond to queries and redirect to appropriate departments
