Job Description:

Administrative Assistant

SPI Plastics Inc. (“SPI”), located in Shallow Lake, is currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join their team as a full-time Administrative Assistant. This role is a maternity coverage and is estimated to be approximately 14 months in length.

About The Role

The Administrative Assistant role provides administrative and clerical support to the office team in an efficient and effective manner. Duties would include:

Monitoring Emails & Drafting Short Correspondence to Internal & External Customers

Completing Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Filing Responsibilities

Providing Marketing Support as Required, Including Printing Product Literature & Other Supporting Documentation

Providing Support to Order Entry Clerk, Including Order Completion Verification, Month End Responsibilities, & Vacation Coverage as Required

Managing & Ordering Office Supplies, Including Replenishment of First Aid Materials

Other Duties as Assigned

Minimum Requirements / Work Experience:

Requirements Experience Working in A Manufacturing Based Office Setting Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills Attention to Detail & Strong Organizational Skills Ability to Manage & Prioritize Multiple Projects in A Fast-Paced Work Environment Demonstrated Proficiency with MS Excel & Word (Familiarity with Wordperfect, CorelDRAW and/or Business Vision Considered an Asset) You may be a great fit for this position if you have previous experience in Administration, Clerical, Secretarial, Office Management, Customer Servi
