VIEW THE SCHEDULE — November 9-December 6

Changes with Owen Sound Aquatic Club's schedule has allowed us to open more lane swims throughout the week starting December 7th. Due to popularity, we've also added an additional Tabata class on Tuesday evenings. Starting Monday, November 30th, these activities will be available to book ahead on ActiveNet.

Grey Bruce Moves to “Yellow Zone”
As you are aware, our region of Grey Bruce has recently transitioned to a “Yellow Zone” in accordance with the province’s COVID-19 framework. As a result of this change, we have had to cap group fitness class sizes to a maximum of 10 members per class (excluding Aquatics programs). Participants in group fitness classes must remain 3 meters distance from each other.
You are encouraged to place your name on a waiting list if your selected class is full. In the event a spot becomes available, our Customer Service team will give you a call.
As well, spacing between members working out on the second floor must be a distance of 3 meters. Fortunately, we originally opened with 3 meters between weight and cardio machines as a precautionary measure, so no change is required.

Lane Swims
Public Health has required us to limit the number of swimmers in our lane swims to one member per lane. Due to this requirement, we are kindly asking that members limit their lane swims to three (3) per week to ensure all members have an opportunity to swim.

Touchless Water Dispenser
We have installed touchless water dispensers at the water fountains in our main hall and in the Fitness Centre. The original water fountains remain closed, but the new touchless water dispensers are open. Check out the counter on the fountains to see how many plastic water bottles we have saved from our environment. Thank you for bringing your own water while we found a safe solution, we appreciate your patience!

Our Safety Commitment To You

The health and safety of our members, staff and participants is of utmost importance. We are following all regulations and guidelines from our government and Public Health officials to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

"It's great to be back in the pool. Well done YMCA for  taking every step to ensure that the pool and gym experience is COVID-friendly, safe, and fun. A big shout out to the Welcome staff at the the front desk, cleaning staff and the Aquatic team who have gone above and beyond to be responsive and caring to the member's fitness and safety needs. Glad to have the Y in my life again."

— Glenda Kerr, YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce Member

Safety measures in our Health, Fitness & Aquatics Centre include:
