If you are interested in volunteering at our YMCA please complete the application form (see link near top of page) and submit it to our Membership Services department. Applications may be emailed to Alison at email@example.com or dropped off at Membership Services. She will connect your application with the YMCA Staff Supervisor responsible for your area of interest, and you will be contacted by that person to discuss their current volunteer opportunities.
Are you a high school student looking for a fun place to complete your 40 hours? Volunteer with us! High school students are welcomed in any of the roles above at our YMCA. Apply today using the same method listed above under 'Volunteer Applications' and indicate that you are a student. Training is provided and counts towards your volunteer hours. While you give back to the community you'll pick up lots of transferable skills that will help you in the coming years. Plus, we are happy to give references, and a volunteer position could definitely lead to paid work at our YMCA!
We have opportunities in all departments at our Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility for high school and college co-op placements. Placements may also be available with our Community & Employment Services or Child Care departments. You are guaranteed to leave with solid, hands-on experience that will help you in whatever you choose to take on next.
