IM&M+ has been a place to come learn, reflect, grow, make new friends and leave a better person!

I want to thank you for helping me and Nesrin with our English. And thank you for putting my daughter in daycare. Also, thank you for giving us the winter clothing for our children. I am happy to be in the YMCA program.

Dear YMCA officials, I’ve known you for about 3 months. Meeting you makes me very happy. I hope we will start our face-to-face training as soon as possible. Learning English with you is very comfortable and fun. My English speaking skills are improving. Thanks for everything. I wish you success!

The program is working for me, I appreciate everything you’re doing in your power to make things happen for me. Even in my loneliest times I felt not so lonely when we worked together and tried to set things up and working bit by bit to achieve my goals. Thank you for all your hard work. I am so pleased that, at almost the age of 15, my first time camper had such a positive experience!

Well done YMCA for taking every step to ensure that our experience is COVID-friendly, safe, and fun. A big shout out to the Welcome staff, cleaning staff and the Aquatics team who have gone above and beyond to be responsive and caring to the member’s fitness and safety needs. Glad to have the Y in my life again.

This was my son’s first experience at an overnight camp, he was very nervous to go, but came home happy and proud of himself for going!

We couldn’t be happier with our child’s experience at camp. They came back full of stories about the friends they made and the exciting activities they tried. It’s clear that the camp provided a nurturing environment that allowed them to grow, gain confidence, and explore their interests. We’re already looking forward to next summer!

All three of my children have attended Owen Sound Y child care and it has given them each the skills they need to ease into life; a great foundation for learning, socializing and dealing with every day challenges. We love Y child care.

Camp was seriously the best! I got to do so many cool things like canoeing, making art, and meeting awesome friends. It was a little scary at first, but the camp staff were really nice. I can’t wait to go back next year!

My wife and I are so grateful to be part of this amazing organization. This program made it so much easier for me and my wife to learn and improve our English, as well as it made our communication skills stronger. It is a great program because it is flexible and works with our schedules and the team is awesome and are so kind and helpful. We are happy that this service is now available through YMCA at Owen Sound, Grey Bruce. This camp provides the most amazing councillors for kids new to the overnight camp idea. They made even the shyest little girl feel so loved and accepted. After a school year of bullying and mean girls I can’t even begin to describe what this has done for her.

IM&M has been a fun and educational 10 weeks full of team building and self-discovery.

Sending my daughter to camp was a big decision, but it turned out to be the best one I’ve made. She came back with a newfound sense of independence and a bunch of new friends. I’m grateful to the camp staff for creating a supportive atmosphere. My daughter is excited to go back next year.

Cardiac Rehab helped me understand exactly what my particular problem was. Exercise has become an integral part of my lifestyle and I make better decisions in regards to my diet.

IM&M has made such a huge impact on my life. No one has put so much care and dedication into helping me before.

IM&M has been a purely encouraging, engaging and supportive program over these past 10 weeks. I’m both glad for myself and grateful for the staff and fellow participants for being an integral part of my positive experience.

Hey, my name is Khadija, I really liked the online classes. It was so fun and great. It was so helpful with my english and I recommend it for everyone.

I sent my daughter with a journal and pre written questions for her to answer. One of the questions was “what emotions did you have on your first day?” Her response was “anxious, happy, excited and ACCEPTED”. That alone was all I needed to know that she had a great week.

They wanted me to turn the car around to take them back! Kids had a blast, thank you!

This program really helped me stay motivated and kept me socially active. Being stuck is really hard and focusing on my goal really helped me figure out what I actually want to do. Also, I met others who I connect with in the group who I now consider good friends.

I first came to the Y 5 years ago because  my health wasn’t good. I started using the walking track and taking fitness classes and its given me a new lease on life. The Y has become a second home to me.
