In November 2025, YMCA WorkWell ran a National Member Experience campaign and heard from over 30,000 members at 102 locations across the country.

Here in Owen Sound Grey Bruce, we heard from 432 members.

What We Worked on in 2025

Following our 2024 Member Experience Survey, we:

  • Expanded evening fitness class options to offer greater variety and flexibility.
  • Added more swim lesson spots, with options available every day of the week.
  • Expanded Fun Zone and Family Play, creating more opportunities for families to be active together.
  • Fine‑tuned our program schedules to support convenient, family‑focused activities throughout the week.
  • Introduced The Y Way Member Experience Program, with a renewed emphasis on celebration and positive member interactions.

What we learned in 2025 helps inform where we’re headed next. In 2026, we’re focusing on strengthening how members experience something new, how achievements are celebrated, and how encouragement is felt every day at the Y.
