Exciting news for YMCA supporters! The Canada Revenue Agency has announced an extension for charitable donations eligible for tax support in the 2024 tax year. 

You now have until February 28, 2025, to make a donation to our charity and apply it to your 2024 tax return.

Here’s what this means for you:

• For Donors:
  Gifts made up to February 28, 2025, can be claimed on your 2024 tax return. If not, you can still claim them on your 2025 return or carry them forward.
• For Receipts:
  We’ll continue issuing official donation receipts to donations of $20.00 or more as usual. If you have misplaced a receipt or need a duplicate please email fundraising@osgb.ymca.ca 

This extension gives you more time to spark positive change and ignite the potential in those who need it most. 

Help us reach our $100,000 goal by March 31, 2025. We still need to raise $38,000 to ensure everyone has an opportunity to shine!
