It’s a powerful reminder that when we come together to share our cultures, stories, and traditions, we strengthen the fabric of our entire community,” says Suneet Kukreja, Program Manager of Immigrant Services at YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce.
“We are so proud to be partnering with the YMCA to host the Multicultural Celebration this year. Diverse cultures enrich all communities, including The Blue Mountains. This event is an opportunity for our residents and visitors of all ages to connect, celebrate and learn. We look forward to celebrating diversity and building understanding, belonging and a stronger community for all.” says Town of The Blue Mountains Mayor Andrea Matrosovs.
This celebration is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Town of the Blue Mountains and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
The YMCA’s Multicultural Celebration is hosted in a different community each year to broaden outreach and foster inclusion across the Grey Bruce region. Now in its fifth year, the event has become a regional highlight and a testament to the vibrant cultural contributions of newcomers and long-time residents alike.
