The YMCA offers meaningful work, volunteer and co-op opportunities where you will find a fun, supportive work environment, opportunities to develop your skills and to be a part of something bigger.
At the YMCA we are on a mission to enhance the well-being of individuals, families and our community. Our staff care deeply about our community and the work we do with our members.
If you have strong personal values, care about people and want to make a difference, the YMCA is the place for you. If you are unsure about your qualifications, please ask us! We can provide training or take previous work experience into account.
The recruitment process is now complete. We're pleased to announce that Sarah Cowley will be joining us as Executive Director in March 2021.
As you may appreciate, the current process began in early March with a national posting and was then initially suspended in April due to the onset of the COPVID-19 Pandemic. Given the current situation and the potential impact of the pandemic on the dynamic and structure of the position we chose to re-evaluate the competencies required in the role and to better understand the requirements of the job in a COVID-19 environment.
