The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce is excited to celebrate the incredible success of the 3rd Annual Cobble Beach 5km Lighthouse Fun Run, held on April 27, 2025. Blessed with beautiful weather, this vibrant community event brought together 303 participants, with ages ranging from 1 to over 80, showcasing the spirit of connection and support from across Grey Bruce and beyond.

A memorable and heartfelt ceremony took place Monday, March 31 at the YMCA Health, Fitness & Aquatics facility in Owen Sound, where Tom Rice and Sonya Mount were presented with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This distinguished honour was awarded in recognition of their exceptional leadership and contributions to the community, particularly as co-chairs of the YMCA’s Julie McArthur Regional Recreation Centre Capital Campaign.
