The YMCA of Owen Sound Grey Bruce has opted-in to the Canada-wide Early Learning Child Care (CWELCC) System and as such our base fees have been reduced for eligible children*.

Bruce County (Port Elgin, Ripley, Kincardine)
Bruce County offers parents access to OneList: an online child care application system.

Fee Details:
- Fees are priced per child

- 12+ month children must be able to walk, feed themselves, drink from a cup, and sleep on a cot
- Available spaces vary per location
- Child care subsidy is available

Fee Details:
- Fees are priced per child
- Fees are calculated based on registered days of care from September to June.
- JK/K fees reflect reduction as per our Canada Wide Early Learning Child Care agreement (CWELCC)
- Registration for school closure days is separate; fees are calculated based on the number of days registered and space allows.
- Available spaces vary per location
- There will be no reduction/credit for days missed due to illness, vacation, extra-curricular activities or any unexpected centre closures.
- School closure days include PD Days, March Break, Winter Break, Summer Break
Child care subsidy is available
*Eligible children means any child, until the last day of the month in which the child turns 6 years old (irrespective of the type of licensed child care program in which they are enrolled); and up until June 30 in a calendar year, any child who, turns six years old between January 1 and June 30 in that calendar year; and is enrolled in a licensed infant, toddler, preschool or kindergarten group, a licensed family age group, or home child care, as defined in the CCEYA.
Get Started

Fill out our Child Care Waitlist Application Form and send it to your local Child Care or Before and After School Program supervisor. At this time, we offer Monday – Friday full time care.

Once availability is confirmed with your local Child Care centre, our Administration team will send you a registration package, which should be completed and returned within three business days to hold your spot.
03.
Payment can be made with credit card or direct deposit (VOID cheque) and is due once registration is complete and before child care begins. Payment is due by the 20th of the current month. Child care subsidy is available.
