At 88 years young, Myrna has been a YMCA member since 1990, starting at the “Old Y” downtown. Her dedication to staying active is evident, as she visits the Y three times a week.
Myrna has attended Kathleen’s fitness classes for the past 35 years, showing the importance of consistency in staying active. Beyond fitness, Myrna treasures the YMCA for the sense of community it offers. Each visit is an opportunity to connect with friends, enjoy meaningful interactions, and have fun, making her time at the Y a highlight of her week.
Myrna enjoys sharing the YMCA experience with her grandchildren, passing on her love for fitness and community. With three of her friends, also in their late eighties, by her side, her story showcases the strong bonds and mutual encouragement that thrive at the YMCA.
