Job Description:
Casero Kitchen Table is seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for food, a strong sense of leadership, and the ability to manage a high-performing kitchen. As the Kitchen Manager, you will oversee all kitchen operations, including staff management, inventory control, menu development, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Development: Lead, train, and motivate our kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Menu Innovation: Work closely with our culinary team to develop and execute menu items that align with Casero’s vision and seasonal availability.
- Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee inventory management, ordering, and cost control to ensure efficient kitchen operations and minimize waste.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous standards for food preparation, presentation, and consistency, ensuring every dish meets our high expectations.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline kitchen processes to enhance productivity while maintaining the quality and integrity of our food.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar leadership role in a restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Deep understanding of kitchen operations, culinary techniques, and food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Passion for local, sustainable ingredients and innovative cuisine.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
