Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Front of House (FOH) Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. As the FOH Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the guest experience, managing staff, and ensuring smooth daily operations in the dining area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and supervise FOH staff, ensuring a cohesive, motivated, and customer-focused team.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring that every guest has an exceptional dining experience.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily FOH operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaboration with BOH: Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between FOH and BOH operations, including timing of food service and communication of special requests.
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, including monitoring labor costs and managing inventory.
- Event Planning & Execution: Assist in planning and executing special events, private dining, and catering services to enhance the guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a FOH Manager or in a similar leadership role in a restaurant.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and customer service.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, including POS systems, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
