Our client, a well-established manufacturer, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their team located near Keady, ON. This is a permanent, in-office position with full-time hours. Wage starts between $22.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Assistant role is responsible for a wide variety of marketing coordination and administrative tasks including content creation, website management, event/tradeshow organization and customer service. Core responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the Organization & Execution of Marketing Events/Tradeshows
  • Creating Content for the Company’s Website, Sales Documents, Brochures, & Other Promotional Materials
  • Directing In-Bound Leads & Sales Calls to Appropriate Department
  • Liaising Daily with Various External Clients, Dealers, & Vendors
  • Posting Directly to Social Media Accounts & Managing Responses/Queries
  • Other Tasks as Assigned

Requirements & Skills

  • Proven Working Experience in a Marketing Role or Educational Equivalent
  • People Person Comfortable Working Both in a Team & Independently
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills
  • Highly Organized with a Demonstrated Ability to Multi-Task While Meeting Deadlines
  • Strong Customer Service with High Level of Professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint)
  • Experience Managing Various Social Media Platforms
  • Experience Utilizing WordPress, Salesforce, & Google Analytics Considered an Asset

You may be a great fit for this position if you have previous experience as a Marketing Coordinator, Sales Rep, Digital Marketer, Graphic Designer, Event Coordinator, Promotions Specialist, or Brand Ambassador.
