Bear Wheel & Brake Service is seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire & Lube Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical knowledge of vehicles & their components and a passion for automotive repair.

Duties:

• Install, balance, rotate and repair tires in a safe & efficient manner.
• Perform oil changes, lubrication services on various types of vehicles.
• Replace oil filters and perform general check overs for seasonal maintenance.
• Check tire pressures and fluid levels.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional automotive services as needed.
• Interact with service advisors to obtain work orders and specific requirements.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting as required (50-100 lbs).
• A valid driver’s license is required and clean drivers abstract.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and previous exposure to passenger vehicles.
• Hard working, excellent team skills with the ability to communicate effectively with advisors and co-workers.
