We are looking for a Full time market garden assistant, with potential in the apiary (beekeeping) side of our business if interested.

Job Duties Include:

• Prepping, planting and bed maintenance throughout the seasons
•  Harvesting, washing and packing weekly produce for our CSA shares and the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market. As well as helping to set up and sell at market on Saturday’s
• Weeding, moving material such as: compost, wood chips and garden material.
• Help in the apiary side of our business (overall management of honey bee colonies throughout the season)

Job Requirements:

• A positive attitude and good problem solving skills.
• Can work independently or work productively as a team.
• Likes to be outside, enjoys the heat of the summer and can be flexible to work in varying weather conditions 
• Has a G driver’s license and a way of getting themselves to and from work
• Enjoys physical work, moving their body, can lift up to 50 lbs.

The position would run from April-November 2025 from Tuesday-Saturdays (having one Saturday off a month)

The hours would be (approximately, and still to be determined. Hours can change through the seasons as we work around the weather and harvests)

• Tue-Fri 9 a.m-5 p.m.
• Saturdays 6:30 a.m-1:30 p.m
