Job Description
MFRC Meaford’s Child Care Centre, located within the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre, offers exciting and interactive experiences for the children in our care. The successful candidate will become our principal teacher in the toddler classroom. Our small capacity allows attention to be focused on children’s needs and educational development.
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 40 per week

Applications are being accepted from individuals with the following qualifications:
- Member in good standing with the College of ECEs, or equivalent education to be otherwise approved;
- Experience working with children from 18 months to 6 years of age;
- Current First Aid & CPR or the ability to obtain;
- Vulnerable Sector Check or the ability to obtain;
- Proof of immunization in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA).
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Planning programs and activities under the guidelines of the CCEYA;
- Reporting on the development of children to parents and your Supervisor;
- Participating in team meetings;
- Ensuring documents are accurately tracked and signed;
- Keeping children safe both inside the classroom and outside during excursions;

The Military Family Resource Centre Meaford is a non-profit, registered charity that provides assistance to CAF families. Through outreach to the communities that our families live (Meaford, Collingwood, Owen Sound and areas in between) to in-house programs, we strive to be a reliable resource dedicated to supporting the quality of life of military families.
You can find us on the 4th Canadian Division Training Centre, located approximately 10km to the northwest of the town of Meaford.
