Position Title: Cook or Food Prep

Purpose:

Under the direction of the Manager, the Cook is responsible for optimal food preparation to Guest (families) based on legislative requirements and Bruce County to ensure the Guests safety and demonstrate customer service excellence.

General Responsibilities:

Prepare and/or be responsible for the preparation/delivery of food according to planned menus for Guests (as required)

Reviews menus before preparing meals and prepares and serves them properly and attractively

Ensure use of proper food handling techniques

In consultation with Manager, make menu substitutions as necessary.

Meets time schedule for service of Meals

Follows daily production charts and standard recipes for planned Menu

Dates,Labels and stores food properly

Assists in receiving and storing food and supplies

Assists in planning and preparation of Special Occasions

Evergreen Resort has been a Family resort since 1950, Situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron 15 minutes north of Sauble Beach. We have provided a peaceful place for families and groups to vacation for 70+ years. Providing a complete vacation for the whole family, we provide daily housekeeping along with Planned activities for the whole family. We also have a large dining room that we serve Breakfast Lunch and Dinner in. As well as a Candy shop and Gift shop. We are a Three Season Resort operating May through October.
