Our client, a well-established plumbing & heating company, is currently looking for a Customer Service Representative (“CSR”) to assist at their busy Owen Sound, ON location. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of basic administrative, customer service, and reception tasks. This is a permanent, full-time position. Weekdays only starting at $20 – 24 per hour based on experience.

About The Role
The CSR is a forward-facing role that assists with a variety of administrative and reception tasks. Working with both internal and external clients, the CSR is the key to routing customer and supplier demands to the appropriate internal team member for action. In addition to delivering a high level of customer service, the CSR is also responsible for a variety of day-to-day administrative tasks. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Providing Superior Support to Customers, Suppliers, Contractors, & Internal Staff
- Filing & Organizing of Various Materials, Documents, Paperwork, Etc.
- Providing Excellent Interpersonal Communications with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Managing & Routing Incoming Calls, Emails, Mail, Couriers & Walk-in Customers
- Assisting With Preparation of Invoices & Accounts Receivable
- Assisting Clients with Ordering of Parts & Invoicing
- Maintaining & Ordering Office Supplies and Equipment
- Maintaining & Updating Customer Databases with Complete & Accurate Information
- Attending & Taking Minutes of Meetings
- Other Tasks as Assigned
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have experience working in an office or administrative setting. They must have strong customer service skills, excellent communication skills, superior attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Some Post-Secondary Education in Business/Accounting (or Related Field) preferred
- Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Drive
- Excellent Communication Skills & Attention to Detail
- Highly Organized & Able to Prioritize Workload in a Busy Work Environment
- Demonstrate High Level of Tact & Confidentiality
- Ability to Work as Part of a Team & Independently
- Must Be Able to Pass Criminal Background Check
