Our client, a well-established plumbing & heating company based in Owen Sound, ON, is currently looking for a Licensed Plumber to assist at their busy Owen Sound location. This is a full-service position working with both commercial and residential clients to perform a variety of tasks including general repairs, maintenance, and installation. This is a permanent, full-time role with a salary range between $32 – $40 per hour based on experience.

About The Role
The successful candidate will have experience working in residential, commercial and industrial plumbing. Be confident and comfortable with their skill level regarding installations, repairs and maintenance of piping systems, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, drainage and waste disposal.
Duties may include
- Plans, Installs, Repairs & Maintain Residential, Commercial & Industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
- Installs the Piping for Any Process, Including the Conveyance of Gas, or any Tubing for a Pneumatic or Air-handling System
- Reads & Understands Design Drawings, Manufacturers’ Literature & Installation Diagrams for Piping & Appliances
- Locates, Marks & Cuts Opening in Walls and Floors to Accommodate Pipe and Pipe Fittings
- Measure, Cut, Bend & Thread Pipes Using Hand & Power Tools or Machines
- Join Pipes Using Couplings, Clamps, Screws, Bolts, Cement or Soldering, Brazing & Welding Equipment
- Test Pipes for Leaks Using Air & Water Pressure Gauges
