We are looking for a part-time market garden assistant, with potential in the apiary (beekeeping) side of our business if interested.

Job Duties Include:

•  Prepping, planting and bed maintenance throughout the seasons.
• Harvesting, washing and packing weekly produce for our CSA share and the Owen Sound Farmer’s Market
• Weeding, moving material such as: compost, wood chips and garden material
• Help in the apiary side of our business (overall management of honeybee colonies throughout the season)

Job Requirements:

• A positive attitude and good problem-solving skills.
• Can work independently or work productively as a team.
• Likes to be outside, enjoys the heat of the summer and can be flexible to work in varying weather conditions
• Has a G driver’s license and a way of getting themselves to and from work.
• Enjoys physical work, moving their body and can lift to 50lbs.

The position would run from May-September 2025 from Tuesday-Friday

The hours would be (approximately, and still to be determined. Hours can change through the seasons as we work around the weather and harvests) Tue-Fri 9 a.m-5 p.m.
