Our client, Chapman’s Ice Cream (“Chapman’s”), is looking for Production Line Workers to join their team based in Markdale, ON. This is a Piler position that entails working as part of a team to stack ice cream onto skids in preparation for shipping and storage. Shifts are on either a two-week rotation between days & afternoons, or straight nights based on applicant preference. Wage starts at $22.75 per hour.

About The Role
As a Piler at Chapman’s, you will be working as part of a team on one of their many state-of-the-art production lines. Your role will be to assist in the stacking and transfer of various ice cream products onto skids in preparation for shipping or storage. In addition to learning the production process, workers will also acquire transferable skills through Chapman’s industry leading hygiene and food & health safety training. Other duties may include:
- Preparing Product for Shipment & Storage
- Packaging & Assembling Food Products
- Quality Control & Inspection of Product for Defects
- Clean-Up & General Maintenance of Production Area(s)
- Other Tasks as Assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to Frequently Lift Upwards of 25 lbs.
- Perform Repetitive Motions on Consistent Basis
- Punctuality & Reliability
- Open to Performing a Variety of Tasks
- Able to Rotate Between Days & Afternoons
- Transportation to & From the Facility
- Great Attitude with Team Player Mindset
