Southwestern Defence is seeking dedicated and professional Security Guards to join our team. We have opportunities available for experienced security personnel across Grey, Bruce, and surrounding areas. Various deployments at client sites include access control, foot and vehicle patrols, theft prevention, crowd control, alarm response, and more.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security

• Enforce site-specific regulations and company policies

• Respond to alarms and emergency situations as required

• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a professional presence

• Maintain accurate and timely incident reports

• Perform crowd control and access control duties

• Prevent theft and property damage

Requirements

• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods

• Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• Ontario Security Guard Licence (required but full training can be provided for approved applicants)

• First Aid and CPR certification (required, and can be provided for approved applicants)

• G or G2 Driver’s Licence with a clean driving record (required)

• Security or law enforcement experience is an asset but not required

• Post-secondary education is an asset but not required

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Use of force training is an asset

Schedule

• 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts available

• Day, evening, and overnight shifts

• On-call and weekend availability

• Monday to Friday and holiday shifts as needed
