Our client, SPI Plastics Inc. (“SPI”), located in Shallow Lake, is currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated, and dedicated individual to join their team as a Shipping & Receiving Assistant. Selected candidates will report to the Shipping & Receiving Manager to assist in the daily flow of products and materials. Day shift only, Monday to Thursday. No nights or weekends!

About The Role
The Shipping/Receiving Assistant is a member of the Shipping team. This position provides support to the Shipping Manager and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically challenging environment with attention to detail. This position requires professional and prudent communications, both internally and externally, while working in a team environment with a diverse group of people. The successful candidate will be required to:
- Assist with the Shipment & Receipt of All Products, Materials &Supplies
- Collaborate & Communicate with Logistics Technicians, Customer Service Representatives, Service Providers, & Others Involved in the Shipment & Receipt of Products
- Track, Trace, & Update the Status of Incoming & Outgoing Shipments
- Maintain A Clean, Neat, & Member-Ready Area
- Promptly Unload Trucks & Deliveries
- Sort & Stock Receivables
- Maintain an Accurate Log Sheet of Daily Moves, Scanning Inventory, & Product Counts
- Provide Additional Backup Support For Various Departments (Production, Assembly, Etc.)
- Other Duties as Assigned

Requirements
- Work Experience in A Warehouse Environment Required
- Ability to Work in a Warm Environment
- Physically Capable – Able to Lift Upwards of 50 to 70 lbs. (assistance with heavy lifts provided)
- Familiarity With Shipping, Receiving, Inventory Collection & Creation of Packing Slips
- Forklift License and/or Experience Considered an Asset
