Training Project Coordinator

EMC is presently seeking a Training Project Coordinator to work directly with and report to the Training Manager to aide in the training department of Excellence in Manufacturing Consortium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 Implement project plans and timelines to ensure projects and programs remain on schedule and within   budget.

 Actively promote and track progress on projects and programs to participants and manufacturing   employers.

 Collaborate with clients to ensure satisfaction and offer additional services.

 Manage communications about available training programs, including recertifications and special events.

 Leverage customer feedback to continuously improve the customer experience, demonstrating a   commitment to excellence and proactive problem-solving.

 Identify prospects through personalized emails, cold calls, and social selling. Build and maintain a   database of business leads.

 Work proactively with internal staff to collaborate, share information and provide updates to senior   management.

 Provide administrative support and documentation including collecting training registrations via phone   or email.

 Maintain training records (e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets)

 Book classrooms and manage online learning management systems to set up programs and learners.

 Prepare and disseminate material (e.g. manuals, instructional notes, feedback forms, certificates)

 Resolve issues as they arise onsite or during online training programs and act as a point of contact for   participants.

 Other duties may be assigned.

Education:

 Post-secondary education in management, business or other related field; OR, has the commensurate   experience and/or equivalent knowledge and abilities. Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing   field would be an asset.

 Two to five years’ experience in project coordination activities, with demonstrated success in setting and   achieving targets and managing tight timelines.

 Exceptional organizational skills with ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

 Great customer service skills, detail oriented with exceptional communication skills (written and oral).

 Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

 Legally able to work in Canada
