  • Police Records Check: As a condition of employment, successful candidates will be asked to submit a Police Records Check after a conditional offer.

A member of our team will connect your application with the YMCA Supervisor responsible for your area of interest. You will be contacted if there are volunteer opportunities available.

Please note: Volunteers must be at least 12 years old.

Student Volunteers

Looking for a fun place to complete your 40 volunteer hours? Join the YMCA! High school students can take on any of the roles listed above. Training is provided and counts toward your hours. While you give back to the community, you’ll pick up lots of transferrable skills such as teamwork, communication, and leadership skills that will help you in school and beyond.

You only need to complete 40 hours — but we bet you’ll love it so much you’ll decide to stay longer!

We have opportunities in a number of departments for high school and college co-op placements. You are guaranteed to leave with solid, hands-on experience that will help you in whatever you choose to take on next.
