Where Every School Day Begins And Ends With Belonging

YMCA School Age programs give kids a place to belong, have fun, and shine before and after the school bell, and during school breaks. Using our YMCA A Place to Connect™ curriculum, children build friendships, grow new skills, and explore their interests in a relaxed, welcoming environment. YMCA A Place to Connect™ Curriculum

YMCA research shows that children flourish in programs that are structured to let them shape their experience by providing opportunities for choice and leadership with a focus on strengths and the development of skills and relationships. This knowledge is how our curriculum was born. Staff receive comprehensive, on-going training that supports their existing knowledge and experience, and this training helps YMCAs across Canada to provide high-quality and consistent programs.
